FAQs and Terms

Do you charge a booking fee?

We do not charge any booking fees, besides 1.24% Govt. service tax on total billing.

What is your booking procedure?

� You put in a booking request with appropriate dates, number of people, & choice of villa/ apartments

� We send you our best offer depending on number of days stay

� You reply to our offer asking us to block the villa

� Subject to availability, we block the stay on a tentative basis, asking you to make 100% advance payment into our account, within 5 working days

� Once the appropriate deposit payment is made into Goa Unlimited bank account, please send us the screen shot of the deposit/ transfer details

What are your payment terms?

Following are the payments terms for booking stays with Goa Unlimited

� All bookings are confirmed on 100% advance payment.

� If the required payment is not received within 5 working days, we reserve the right to cancel your booking request.

� All payments must be made by cash/ cheque/NEFT in to our company's bank account, unless otherwise agreed with Goa Unlimited and must be made in accordance with Goa Unlimited payment instructions as set out in your tentative blocking confirmation mail.

What happens once you make the payment to us?

Once the payment is credited into the Goa Unlimited bank account, we send you a confirmation voucher within 24 hrs. This confirmation voucher will contain confirmation details, villa/apartment address, contact details of the owner or owner's representative and directions to the property. This voucher, along with your photo id, need to be presented upon arrival.

What is your cancellation/amendment policy?

If you wish to cancel a confirmed booking, a written notice of cancellation must be sent to Goa Unlimited. All cancellation notices received by Goa Unlimited will be acknowledged in writing.

Bookings can be transferred to another person/s for the same dates as your confirmed booking, with prior notice only. Bookings can also be postponed; however, will be treated as a new booking, subject to availability and applicable rates for that period.

In the event that you cancel a confirmed booking, the following penalties will generally apply:

� 20% of the total amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made more than 60 days before the date of arrival

� 50% of the total amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made between 30 and 60 days before the date of arrival

� 100% of the total amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made between 1 and 29 days before the date of arrival

� Admin/ bank charges of Rs. 500/- will also be applicable over and above.

� The refunds, if any, will be processed within 7 working days and payable in cheque/transferred into your account.

Please note that these above cancellation terms apply for regular booking periods. No refund terms are applicable for high peak seasons.

Are there any additional costs?

We do not charge any additional fees for electricity, water and housekeeping. Any other additional expenses, unless specified in your confirmation voucher, such as food and beverages, telephone, internet charges will be billed to you at actuals.

What are the check-in/check-out timings?

Typical check-in and check-out timings are 1pm and 11am respectively unless stated otherwise. Goa Unlimited will work with the owner to try to accommodate your actual arrival and departure times, subject to availability. Please do advise us of any changes to your schedule so every effort can be made to accommodate them.

Do you provide daily housekeeping services?

We clean the apartment/villa on a daily basis. However, the linen is changed once in 2 days. Housekeeping services are carried out only when the guest is present in the apartment or villa.

Do you provide safe deposit lockers?

Our apartments and villas do not have safe deposit locker facilities. Guests are expected to take care of their own valuables. Goa Unlimited or the owners of the apartment/villa will not be responsible for loss of any valuables.

How many people are allowed in one villa/apartment?

Every villa/apartment has a policy regarding maximum occupancy. The number of persons (adults and children) staying at the villa/apartment must not exceed the maximum number of people indicated in our offer mail. Entry or access to the property may be refused or limited where the number of guests exceeds the stated requirement.

Are we allowed to entertain guests in the villa/apartment?

Guests are allowed in the villa /apartment only after notifying the caretaker or the front desk. However, we do not allow overnight stay for guests.

Are pets allowed?

Most of our stays do not allow pets, unless agreed in writing in advance.

What happens if there are any damage or losses caused by the guests?

A villa/ apartment are typically someone's home. Any damage or losses caused during your stay, as well as any special cleaning requirements will be your responsibility and will have to be settled by you on that given day. In cases of excessive or unacceptable loss or damage at any time during the period of your stay, the owner may require you to vacate the villa immediately, without compensation or refund, after settlement of the losses.

Can we cook our own food at the villa/apartment?

Cooking is not allowed in our villas/apartments. Most of our villas/apartments have a restaurant or pantry facility, which can cater to you at an extra cost.

Can we use other facilities in the villa/apartment complex?

Many villas/apartments have facilities such as caretaker service, swimming pool, gym etc. These can be availed free of charge, unless otherwise specified. They can be availed of in the specified time limits only.

Rights of admission

All bookings are assumed to be for normal holiday purposes only, and you agree that the use of the villa/apartment will be limited to this purpose unless otherwise confirmed in writing.

If you are planning to hold an event, such as a wedding or party, which involves having a larger number of people at the villa, or if you are planning to use the villa for a purpose other than holiday, please communicate this to Goa Unlimited at the time of booking, as special approval or arrangements may be required. Depending on the nature of the event, a surcharge and/or additional security deposit may be required, which will be agreed and confirmed in writing prior to confirming the reservation. Note that some villas are in residential areas, and some may be subject to rules and regulations regarding their use. Therefore, it may not always be possible to grant permission for certain uses or activities due to these or other reasons beyond the control of Goa Unlimited and the owner.

Conduct and Due Care

Our villas/apartments are generally located in quiet residential neighbourhoods. You are asked to respect this, and ensure that all guests and visitors to the villa/apartment behave appropriately. Loud music and noise, inappropriate dressing and illegal or immoral activities including gambling, prostitution, prohibited drugs, possession or use of pyrotechnics or dangerous goods, and possession or use of firearms and other weapons are all strictly prohibited.

The person making the reservation is held responsible for the behaviour of the guests staying at the villa/apartment, as well as visitors to the property during the period of your stay.

Valuables and Security

Any guest valuables or property left or used at the villa/apartment are at your own risk. Neither Goa Unlimited nor the owner accepts any responsibility for loss of or damage to guest property. You are responsible for the villa during your occupancy, and must ensure that all windows and doors are locked securely when not on the premises.

Price Fluctuation

The rate offered to you for a particular villa/apartment may vary depending on the seasonal demand and supply. If your booking is confirmed at a particular rate, no refunds or changes will be made to price offered to you in case of rate changes due to any reasons.

Amendment

In the unlikely event that Goa Unlimited is unable for any reason (including force majeure) to provide you with the property you have booked, Goa Unlimited reserves the right to transfer you to an alternative property of the similar type and value, in consultation with you. If the price of the substituted property is less than the original booking, the difference will be reimbursed to you. If the price of the substituted property is higher than the original booking, the difference will be charged to you. If, however, no agreement can be reached between you and Goa Unlimited then either of us may opt to cancel the booking. In that event, Goa Unlimited will refund the booking amount to you.

Complaints

Every attempt will be made for you to have an enjoyable stay. If you should have a problem during your stay, please inform the owner or Goa Unlimited immediately who will endeavor to put things right. In order for your complaint to be addressed, you must communicate any problem whilst on location. If no complaint is reported during your stay, Goa Unlimited and the owner will assume that the villa/apartment was to your satisfaction and no complaint will be entertained.

Goa Unlimited Responsibility

The descriptions of villas and surrounding locations that Goa Unlimited publishes or gives to you are provided in good faith and in the belief that they are accurate based on the latest information received. However, Goa Unlimited cannot be held responsible for any modifications or inaccuracies.
